At the BHM Lab, they designed and facilitated workshops while engaging in critical reflection with visitors and staff. Aina Rea’s communication is grounded in the understanding that language structures power relations and that inclusive, intentional words can enable more equitable forms of dialogue. Humour was an important tool for connecting with people.

Museums play an essential role as spaces of debate, where colonial history and racist stereotypes must be openly discussed through interdisciplinary exchange.
