The European Union’s Pact on Migration and Asylum, adopted in 2024, is structured around four key pillars. The EU’s approach, exemplified by agencies like Frontex, has led to systemic abuse and human rights violations, including illegal pushbacks, inadequate search and rescue operations.

After reflecting on their own family’s history and memories of border crossings on their way back home, the artists reframed text from the published european border agreements of 2024 by asking the viewers, whether they fulfill the strict regulations themselves.

Actualizing migrant memory in the present as form of political self-organization. In this context, the artists challenge the historical narrative of „swiss neutrality“.
